Cookie policy
Last updated 2026-09-11
This policy explains which cookies and equivalent storage technologies oceanic.cloud uses, in accordance with article 22(2) of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) and data protection law.
1. What they are
A cookie is a small file that a website stores on your device when you visit it. Alongside cookies there are other technologies with equivalent effect, such as browser local storage (localStorage), which are also covered by this policy.
2. Our approach
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not share data with advertising networks. The advertising parameters of Google Consent Mode stay denied at all times, whether or not you accept.
Apart from the strictly necessary storage described below, no third-party script loads until you accept analytics cookies: if you reject them, no request is made to Google or Microsoft and no measurement cookie is installed.
3. Necessary storage
Always installed, because without it the site cannot work or remember your decision. No consent required.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| oceanic-consent-v1 | First party · local storage | Store your cookie choice so we do not ask again on every visit. | Until you clear it in your browser or change your preferences. |
4. Analytics and behaviour cookies
Installed only if you accept them. They let us see, in aggregate, which pages are read and where people leave the site, so we can improve it.
Google Analytics 4, via Google Tag Manager
Audience measurement: page views, referrer and interaction events, in a pseudonymised way. Provider: Google Ireland Ltd.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Third party · Google | Distinguish visitors in a pseudonymised way. | 2 years |
| _ga_<ID> | Third party · Google | Maintain measurement session state. | 2 years |
Microsoft Clarity
Behaviour analysis: heatmaps and aggregated session replay, to find where people get stuck. Clarity masks form input by default, so whatever you type into the contact form is not recorded. Provider: Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _clck | Third party · Microsoft | Associate visits from the same browser. | 1 year |
| _clsk | Third party · Microsoft | Group the pages of one session. | 1 day |
| CLID | Third party · Microsoft | Identify the browser on clarity.ms. | 1 year |
| MUID | Third party · Microsoft | Microsoft services browser identifier. | 1 year |
We use Google Consent Mode v2 with every parameter denied by default, including the advertising parameters, which remain denied at all times. Subsequent processing by Google and Microsoft, and the related international transfers, are described in the Privacy Policy.
5. How to change your choice
You can accept, reject or change your preferences at any time, without affecting how the site works:
You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Note that these steps are controlled by each browser and may change:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
6. Changes to this policy
If we add new cookies or change the existing ones, we will update this page and ask for your consent again where the law requires it.
